ENCAD Printer Parts Buying Guide
Before Encad was takeover by Kodak,its equipment market coverage is same like HP for a time. Its character is brightly colored,easy operation,good compatible with water based ink and consumable and low cost,it is the common equipment in ad industry.

Encad printer have large scope of customers,low cost brought them more business opportunities. However,recent years,new customers increased less than before cause of the backward print head technology.
Encad printer is one type of thermo printhead,the printhead is main consumable,usually change new head per month.
Encad common used parts as follows,
During one year,parts may be changed like BUSHING,SERVO MOTOR,BELT and so on.
During three years,parts may be changed like workstation，step motor,encoder strip,railing cable and so on. In addition,flex cable and carriage board may be damaged cause of improper usage and maintenance.
In recent years,some fake novajet printers flow into the market,the price is lower,the parts can be compatible with novajet printer,except the difference between original main board carriage board quality and compatible ones,other spare parts are stable in the printer,however,the novajet printer spare parts price is only 10% of the original one.
